Let’s go to Broome!!
I have an early flight this morning, going north and in two day I’m in the Kimberley!!
Since it was too early for the shuttle, I took a taxi to the airport. Everything was going good until I arrived at the counter, where they told me I was at the wrong terminal. Well, not a big deal, I was early enough so it should be ok. What I didn’t know is that to get to the terminal I was leaving from, it was a 15min drive, and yes, they have a free shuttle, but I would have arrived to late for the checking, so back on a taxi and let’s go to the right place, what a great way to start my day :(…
My flight went well and I arrived in Broome feeling better than when I left Perth.
I went exploring the town a little, not a lot to see being really small, but they still manage to have a brewery!! So if you don’t know what to do on a Monday afternoon in Bromme, go to Matso’s!!
The place is a pearling town, lot’s of jewellery stores. I learned a little bit more about the pearling history and the different kind of pearl.
I went back to my hostel, which is situated in Cable Beach, a little out of town, and went to watch the sunset. It was one of the most beautiful sunset I’ve ever seen, the sun turning in this orange/red/pink ball.

I went for a run this morning, knowing it’s the last one for at least 9 days. It’s the last one for my shoes, I’ll be leaving them here since they are done and I need to make my bag a little bit lighter for my Kimberleys' tour.
And since running wasn’t enough, I went for a swim afterward, it felt soo good!! Haven’t been swimming since I left Sydney, almost two month ago.
For the rest of the day, nothing too exiting: hanging at the beach for a while, laundry, packing and back at the beach for the sunset.
Nice and easy day, life is good :)
