An other 5:00am weak up call, and this time I had a really hard time to get up, even with the promise of a unique sunrise.
This time, we went to Uluru, same spot than we were for the sunset the night before.
We were supposed to see Uluru going from dark to red with the sun rising, but again, it was cloudy. Still a really nice view and always happy to watch the sunrising.
Then, we went for a walk at the base of Uluru. Every morning, there is a ranger that guide for free the Mala walk and that's what we did. I liked it a lot, learning a bit more about aboriginal culture and the meaning of the different part of Uluru.
Next we went back to the camp to pack our tents (didn't felt like doing it in the dark at 5:00am) and went back to the national park for an other short walk around Uluru. We didn't feel like doing the 10km base walk and drove around instead ;)
And it was already time to leave the area, direction King Canyon.
We stopped one last time in Yulara for lunch and we were back on the road, going to spend the night at the king canyon campground.
