Left Franz Josef and first stop Matheson Lake.

If you go there early enough in the morning, you can see the reflexion of Mt Tasman and Mt Cook in the lake.

Then, lunch Stop in Haast, small place with around 50 peoples living there, and it’s a 2hours drive to the next town, don’t think I could live there…

Next, quick stop at the Thunder Fall. If you stare at the water for a moment and look at the trees afterward, it looks like their branches are moving up.

And we arrived in Wanaka. A lot a of people say it’s a mini Queenstown. Haven’t been there yet, so can’t confirm or deny it…

Tonight is movie night, in the most unique theater I’ve been. When was the last time you went to the movie and had fresh out of the oven home made cookie during the intermission?? Sooo Yummy :)

Next day, walk up to mont Iron with a nice view of Wanaka and around.

I was planning on renting a bike and go along the lake in the afternoon, but I got a cold and my head hurt too bad to go on the bike. So I just walk a little around the lake. Traveling while being sick is really not fun :(

And since I feel crapy, went back to the movie to cheer myself up a little. Wish we had a place like that in Tampa bay…
