On the way to Waitomo, we stopped to the Karangahake Gorge, where they used to do some gold mining.

When you're in the cave with no light on, it looks like a clear night with a lot of stars, magical :)
Was there still a narrow gauge train at the karangahake gorge mine?? I saw the train tracks...
