Westport

Sad to be leaving Kaiteriteri, really like that place, but it's time to go on and keep exploring the country.

Next destination, Westport.

Quick stop in the Nelson Lake National park, at Rototoa Lake.

And we arrived in Westport, which wasn't at all what I was expecting... It's described as a surfing city, so in my head I saw it like most of those kind of place: right on the beach with a lot going on. Well the beach was 1,5miles away and the town was kind of dead...
It's not a bad place to visit, and probably really nice when you have a car...
Staying there for 2nights and having wifi (Awesome!!) gave me some time to relax, updated my blog and organized a little my trip.

The evening we got there, we went for a bonfire on the beach, good time :)













The next day, not having much to do, I decided to go for a run. Guess who almost got lost again?? Not sure I should keep running in places I don't know.
And a little walk to the beach later on, because again, not really anything else to do. Nice and relaxing day before going on to some more days full with activities, will need some more of those along the way :)
